Michael Rogers Advances to Customer Service Manager at Ossid

BATTLEBORO, N.C. — Ossid, powered by ProMach, promoted Michael Rogers to Customer Service Manager to provide customers with prompt, high-quality product support, including emergency around-the-clock service and to ensure the company’s customer service goals are achieved. Rogers reports to the General Manager and manages the Overwrap and Tray Sealing Technical group. Ossid designs and manufactures weigh-price labelers, overwrappers, tray sealers, horizontal form-fill-seal machines, and in-motion case scales for the food and medical device industries, as well as for consumer goods.

“Mike has more than 25 years of packaging experience here at Ossid, including working with both overwrapping and labeling equipment,” said Ernie Newell, Vice President and General Manager of Ossid. “He has both technical expertise and supervisory experience and can ably manage our customer’s service needs.”

Rogers is a PMMI Certified Trainer as well as an accredited Six Sigma Green Belt. Six Sigma is a set of techniques and tools for process improvement, seeking to improve the quality of production by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing inconsistencies in manufacturing and business processes.
